Over $25,000 Raised for Save the Children at IDEX 2008!
Not only did the attendees at the fabulous IDEX charity event get treated to a lavish runway production by show producer Gregg Ortiz complete with models and dolls, but they also opened their wallets during the silent auction to raise well over $25,000 for Save the Children.
Complete with lights, music, and outstanding choreography, the atmosphere was electric and charming as models from ages 4 to 34 showcased one-of-a-kind costumes to match the auction dolls on the catwalk. The proceeds of the auction, held at IDEX Premiere in Orlando, FL, on January 26, 2008, will help create real and lasting change for children in need in the United States and around the world. Thanks go to some of the biggest names in our industry who donated dolls and matching costumes for the live models. And to our sponsor, Alexander Doll Co, to all who made such incredibly generous bids, and to those who labored mightily to create an amazing production, IDEX says "Bravo!"
